WINDOW BOBBINS
This is a totally new design in a Lace Bobbin. It comprises of a wooden head and neck, then a clear acrylic tube, and then a wooden end to fix your spangle to (the wood is Mexican Rosewood).
The tube is filled with different items such as a piece of Lace, 2 wooden gold fish, and a wooden lighthouse, a baby bone bobbin, a snowman and a Father Christmas.

This new design of pricker has a standard pin vice in one end, the wooden handle shaped for comfortable use is hollow,
and the wooden knob at the top pulls off to keep the needles safely shut away in the handle

”EBONY WITH PEWTER INLAY"

I have introduced a new range of Ebony bobbins, these are inlayed with pewter bands, spirals, stripes and dots
and are based on traditional designs and production methods of the 19th century. I have 39 different designs, please see the web site for pictures of all the designs.

I believe that I am the only professional bobbin maker reproducing these unusual and extremely elegant bobbins of times gone bye.

The pattern is cut into the ebony, this is then filled with "molten" pewter, this is then cleaned up and then bobbin has its final shaping and sanding, it's difficult and time consuming to produce!

These luxury bobbins will grace your pillow and make your colleagues extremely envious.
